Purpose To install, commission and repair access control equipment supplied by Parkeon either in the workshop or on the customer’s site. Responsibilities ­ Repair, installation and commissioning of access control equipment, ticket-vending equipment and perform basic customer training. ­ Perform routine preventative maintenance to a predetermined schedule. ­ Manage and control sufficient stock levels of spare parts/replacement modules necessary for the area of operation and product population therein. ­ Obtain and communicate to the Field Service Manager, information related to the client's product requirements, the competitor product range. Participate ­ Complete the required paperwork as advised by the Field Service Manager. (Time sheets, Service Reports, Installation Reports etc.) ­ Actively contribute to improve the quality of both products and services by working in accordance with internal and external quality standards conforming to ISO 2000. ­ Observe HSE requirements as advised by the HSE Manager. ­ Contribute to interdepartmental communication in order to improve product quality and functionality and the creation of a team spirit within and outside your own work responsibility. ­ ­ Ensure that any company vehicle supplied for your use is road-worthy and maintained as per the manufacturer’s specification and recommendations. ­ Maintain possession of a full U.K. driving licence. Experience: Previous experience of working as a service technician Experience of working with electrical circuits Core skills: Knowledge of electrical/electronic theory Computer literate Behavioural factors : Good communication and interpersonal skills Team player Reliable You will use your own vehicle, proof of MOT and Insurance are required. You must maintain your vehicle in a reliable and roadworthy condition. You will be reimbursed for mileage during working hours of 9.00 - 1.00 pm Mon-Fri - at HMRC rate.
