You'll lead your team to deliver the services within your remit and to ensure that a strategic, innovative, efficient, quality service is provided to all clients within the agreed budgetary guidelines. Specifically you will: Ensure the profitable, efficient and safe operations of contracts within your remit and have full management of the P&L. Lead a team of Support Managers, ensuring they drive the business forward with innovation and expertise which builds business reputation. Provide high quality service delivery to all customers in accordance with company procedures through a highly motivated and appropriately trained team of operational support staff. Retain existing business along with achieving relevant growth targets for new work through positive involvement in tenders. Improve cash collection and achieve debtor days of 30 or less with the assistance of the Finance Function. Identify new business opportunities including defining service density plans and contribute to the evaluation and management associated with those opportunities alongside the sales team. Recruit, induct, coach, motivate, develop and, where necessary, manage the performance of direct reports. Ensure that the team develops to meet succession planning needs. Provide consistently high levels of performance, meeting and exceeding contractual obligations and strategic objectives. Take personal (hands-on) responsibility for key client relationships, contract performance, retention and growth. To succeed in this role you will need: Significant management experience within facilities services, operating across a multi site / service sector environment. Experience of service delivery in Government / Public Sector environment. A proven track record in delivering effective customer service whilst maintaining appropriate operating margins. Experience of delivering successful sales presentations and contributing to the bidding process. To be a hard working, outgoing and confident team player, who takes pride in their work and is capable of showing initiative with the ability to think quickly and commercially. A proven record of managing, motivating, developing and retaining a dispersed workforce both directly and through others. You will need the ability to mentor and develop colleagues including counselling and coaching as necessary. An FM qualification relevant to service stream or sector knowledge and experience in delivery of other soft services. Highly literate and numerate To be self-motivated and results driven, with ability to prioritise workload and delegate effectively to direct reports. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
