Technical Support and Logistics Operative We are a leading Distributor in Retail Payment Solutions and specialise in market leading tablet based point of sale hardware and ePOS software . This is a great opportunity to join the team in this diverse role combining some of the traditional warehouse activities such as order processing and stock movement with 1st line technical support for our customers through our telephone Helpdesk. Our Helpdesk is operational 364 days a year from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Sundays, so you will need to be prepared to work a shift pattern around these days and hours. The weekend shifts are covered by homeworking. So what does it take to fit our role… you will need to be IT literate as the role involves loading software and technical diagnosis of payment hardware and software (full training is provided). You will be a good communicator both verbally and written. Enjoy working in a team environment, be flexible and have the ability to react quickly in a busy environment to ensure that our customer’s needs are met. You’ll be really good at the detail, following procedures and accuracy is essential. Due to the nature of our work all employees undertake a regular DBS (criminal record check).
