Our client, one of the world's foremost manufacturers of Power Tools are currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to promote their range of professional tools and accessories to assigned sector end users. Target Industry Sectors: Independent Distributors, National Merchants, Independent Merchants, Electrical Wholesalers, National Tool Hire and End Users Geographical Areas: East Scotland, Perth & Kinross, Edinburgh, Borders, Angus, Tayside, Fife, Stirling, Lothian and Falkirk Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Develop a strategy to ensure regular contact with targeted clients throughout the assigned area Strengthen the company's position within the targeted market and support company strategies to ensure targets are achieved Identify new business opportunities within the targeted sectors Maintain accurate records of activities, providing timely feedback of your activities to your line manager Assist in the development and introduction of new products to the targeted sectors Identify training requirements and deliver on these Experience requirements: The ability to work independently as well as part of a thriving team The ability to sell into a variety of differing market sectors Field Sales Experience desirable but not essential Excellent presentation skills with strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to travel and stay away from home as necessary In return my client are able to offer a basic salary with OTE, Daily Meal Allowance, Out of pocket expenses float, company fuel card (private mileage chargeable), Pension, Laptop and Phone.
