The NMC is embarking on a major transformation programme and requires a Business Architect who will help drive overall business value by recommending solutions and designs that leverage architecture best practices and standards, while also identifying ways to improve existing enterprise assets and business applications. You will contribute to the long term strategy to drive significantly high standards in process design, technology and focus on transformation. In this role you will contribute to the definition and planning of future capabilities, operating models, metrics, governance, and transition plans. You will analyse and translate business and platform/application needs in order to enable the target operating model and system that will help drive the modernisation and inform the detailed application software design and/or infrastructure needed. About you You will be the subject matter expert (SME) on enterprise architecture, process design and re-engineering, change and transformation strategy, and technology identification and adoption in support of a developing transformation programme. You will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects and programmes on-time and to budget whilst managing quality/scope objectives. Knowledge of and ability to design, apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments is an essential. You will also need effective people management and team development skills. About us We are the UK’s nursing and midwifery regulator.
