These are exciting times for our Retail/Hospitality client and we are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to join them as Head of Infrastructure. The purpose of this role is to lead the transformation of the IT Infrastructure function, including Technical Support Services, Service Desk Management, Change Management and Application Support. Key Responsibilities · Budget Management, driving compliance with financial targets, goals and objectives · Work closely with the CIO to build their next generation of infrastructure · Responsible for the take-on process for all new applications and infrastructure · Ensure all processes adhere to ITIL service management · Manage the performance of the IT service desk and ensure service levels agreed with the business are met/exceeded · Ensure strict adherence to the change management policy and procedures · Ensure the necessary skills are in place to take on support of all infrastructure and applications. · Manage a diverse group of staff to deliver industry leading Technical Support Services, Service Management, Service Design and Application Support Management of IT service delivery and service levels via established outsourcing contracts. · Effectively manage cost, quality and performance · Fully aligned and adoption of service management processes and procedures. · Participate in the development of regional IT strategy, including architecture, transformation, lifecycle management in conjunction with corporate IT Key skills and experience · In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure and infrastructure support · In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure and service design · In-depth knowledge of the application development cycle and take-on processes · In-depth knowledge of ITIL and service management · Solid track record of delivery in an IT environment with in depth knowledge and extensive experience of an IT support/service management role · Ability to manage and influence teams outside of direct reports · Excellent written, oral communications and presentation skills · Commercial mind-set and awareness · Able to rapidly build and maintain working relationships with clients · Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of organisation (Senior Management to site staff) · Ability to quickly comprehend and summarise complex requirements Benefits Excellent package, company car, bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, childcare vouchers, retail discounts, training and development opportunities.
