An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Manager to join our Change Delivery Team. You’ll be r esponsible for the delivery of change initiatives from initiation into operational service. You’ll need to work to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards; ensuring these are appropriately planned, resourced, funded and governed. Key Responsibilities Assisting the Director of Change Delivery in the development of the annual capital and P&L budgets to ensure business priorities are adequately funded within the portfolio of change initiatives Maintaining a documented approach to programme and project management which ensures that change initiatives deliver to time, cost, quality. Providing expertise in programme and project management to change initiatives, leading the definition and execution of programme, project and domain level plans Ensuring effective leadership and management of assigned teams Setting clear objectives for assigned team members to ensure there is clarity on what needs to be achieved for any given project Ensuring that approved partners are used for the delivery of the programme exploring both internal & external resourcing options to obtain the best value for money and the right level of skills required for the work Skills and Experience Experience of working in fast paced, multi-channel customer focused organisations, ideally in the retail sector or other consumer centric market sector Experience of helping organisations leverage information and technology to take advantage of the opportunities and overcome the challenges of multi-channel, multi-brand, integrated digital/physical business operating models Experience of implementing and continuously improving the operational processes of a business transformation, change or Business Technology function Ability to think and act strategically but also to operate and implement change tactically when required, dealing effectively with ambiguity and managing changeable business priorities Pragmatic in the application of quality methods and approaches, striking an appropriate balance between rigour and progress, maintaining a highly delivery-focused mind-set throughout If you’d like to find out more about our Technology function and the transformation programmes we’re running, check out the Digital and Technology section on our careers site: This job was originally posted as
