James Alpe Ltd has been established over 30 years and is a large diverse family run organisation based in Clitheroe, Lancashire. We now employ over 100 people across our various workshops. We provide a range of services within the automotive industry including accident repair of cars, commercial and prestige vehicles. We carry out specialist vehicle conversions, provide car and van hire, vehicle leasing and vehicle sales. In addition we have our own well established and successful standalone sign and design company which specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing all types of business signage, vehicle livery and wrapping, design and sales of promotional workwear and goods. James Alpe Sign and Design are a one stop shop for clients branding needs and have the skills, experience and technology to deliver with excellence on all types of projects. We have an extensive client base which ranges from individual customers to large corporate organisations in both the public and private sectors. Project management of each order is paramount to our success and we have a team of dedicated PM’s, designers and sign fitters to ensure delivery of service. With the continued growth of our client base, we are now looking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic individual to manage this busy department. The Manager will have the following responsibilities; · Overseeing all departmental operations to ensure that projects are delivered with excellence and within budget. · Client meetings, new business development and account management of key and strategic accounts. · Liaising with internal departments within the James Alpe group. · Stock control and ordering of parts and materials. · Liaising with suppliers & keeping up to date with advances in technology, materials etc. · Preparing designs and quotations and responding to customer enquiries. · Management of all staff and maximising efficiency within the department. · Implementing improvements in departmental processes. · Managing and monitoring quality control. · Complying with all company policies and procedures in relation to health & safety at work. The Manager will have the following skills: · Extensive knowledge of the signs, vehicle graphics, and general branding industry. · Design skills and design software knowledge (preferably Flexi-sign) · Excellent Interpersonal/communication skills. · Knowledge and experience of large format printers, laminators, cutters, plotters and materials. · Project management experience (handling multiple projects at any given time). · Previous management experience.
