The chosen candidate will be located at our client facility in Sunbury. You will have the opportunity to learn from our experienced technicians any aspect of the technology and software you might not be familiar with. Audio/visual (A/V) and information technology (IT) professionals are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, including video conferencing, high performance computer graphics applications, computing equipment, networked visualization, streaming video, fiber-optics communications, analog signal transmission equipment, meeting space control systems, and facilities integration Test and evaluate new technology and methods of implementation, for everyday and new-to-market devices Work hand-in-hand with specialists at client facilities to ensure they are able to make immediate and critical decisions while using the technology without having to worry about down-time and functionality Grow professionally through ongoing training, certification programs, and continued learning Enjoy variety in your work, which includes elements of customer service and interaction, hands-on equipment setup, trouble shooting, and repair Provide regular tracking and reporting in the company's issue resolution software system Required Qualifications Educational degree/certificate or equivalent experience in IT services or AV systems administration Minimum of 2 years of hands-on technology hardware troubleshooting experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support Experience with ticketing and issue tracking Solid and demonstrable experience and skill in building client relationships Additional experience with the following would also be desirable: Teleconferencing and Video Conferencing management Projection technology management and maintenance ITIL Framework certification Generic Software and Linux troubleshooting experience Audio system installation and calibration Mechdyne offers an exciting work environment that is continually evolving, with competitive salaries, and a generous benefits package, including performance incentives, and profit sharing.
