INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE - TELCO / IT / LEAD GENERATION Our well established client in South Wales is looking to take on an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious sales executive to be based in Cardiff. You do not have to have any experience in telecoms or IT - just a genuine passion to develop and learn with an extremely rewarding and successful organisation. Any relevance to the market / service selling or lead generation background is of great interest for the client. OVERVIEW As a junior sales and telemarketer you will become the first point of contact between our client and potential new customers. During your initial telephone call you would be expected to obtain qualifying information such as the customer’s current provider and current expenditure, and then to create interest in our clients product with a view to either sell or book an appointment for the field sales teams. You will explain our services and the potential savings available, as well as answer any questions customers may have. Your objective is to make appointments for field-sales representatives to visit (which will earn you commission) and also to sell Telco and IT solutions over the telephone. Our client provides excellent training and development with extremely competitive pay - starting salary 16-18,000 10% commission, full benefits package after probation, additional commission from the field sales visits and also continuous career development with clear SKILLS ·Excellent communication (written, spoken and listening) and customer relations skills. ·Good inter personnel and phone skills ·Strong and demonstrable IT & numeracy Skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft productivity suite Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. ·Customer focus and have a ‘Can Do’ attitude ·Able to work with structure, logic and accuracy ·Able to effectively work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines ·Able to multitask and handle several client accounts effectively ·Strong work ethic and detail oriented ·The ability to exercise good judgement ·Proactive and motivated by desire to deliver the best quality service ·Sound knowledge of the full range of services and capabilities ·Good general knowledge of trends in Mobile and Information Technology (ideally) ·Team oriented ·Punctual and conscientious SALARY AND PACKAGE our client will offer a starting salary of £15,000 rising to £17,500 after 3 month probation 15K OTE Uncapped additional bonus of field sales appointments.
