Above all, as a front end developer joining this team you will need to have a high aptitude and drive, as well as an ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly. Candidates looking to apply for this role must look to constantly update and develop their technical knowledge with a core skill set including CSS whether it's with Sass or Less, you're able to interpret visuals into code with an eye for detail and interaction. HTML the ability to create semantically structured mark up and class names (BEM, OOCSS, etc.) in a maintainable fashion. JavaScript strong programming fundamentals and understanding is more important than your knowledge of jQuery. An appreciation of design and its importance in the work you produce is also a big plus as well as wanting to increase your knowledge with ES6, Sass and Grunt (with the ongoing adoption of Webpack, React, post-css and others) as well as work in a collaborative process to create something of greater value.
