Job Role: Internal Sales Engineer Job Type: Permanent Industry: Aerospace Location: Gloucestershire Profile Our client is a leading company within the aerospace industry based in Gloucestershire. In order to accommodate their increasing workload they are looking to supplement their commercial team with a Internal Sales Engineer/Account Manager. Job Role The Internal Sales Engineer shall work as part of the commercial team, helping to reach strategic objectives whilst following the priorities set out in the budget. Duties - Identify and assess new opportunities with existing and new customers - Work alongside Sales Manager to prioritise opportunities and orders - Project manage new contracts from start to finish - Prepare progressional bids and tenders for major opportunities - Negotiate and close deals with terms defined by RFA - Attend sales and marketing meetings - Provide ongoing, outstanding customer service support - Manage quotations in a professional and competent manner - Provide marketing requirements and competitor information - Visit clients to maintain and grow relationships Experience/Qualifications - Firm understanding and evidence of managing multiple accounts - Ability to generate accurate forecasts - Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering industry - Proven ability in securing new business and working against challenging KPI's - Experience working to deadlines and cost budgets - Team player, comfortable within an office environment - Excellent IT skills - Forward-thinker To make an application for this role please submit your CV to or for more information call 01453 829541.
