IT Programme Manager / Head of Projects- Competitive Salary and Great Benefits (Car/Allowance, Bonus, Shares, Flexi Bens) – apply now Our client is a leading International award winning, FMCG organisation that due to continued growth now requires an experienced commercial IT Infrastructure Programme Manager heading up a team of circa 10 Infrastructure Project Managers (Permanent and Contract). Heading up the Infrastructure delivery team of Project Managers, you will be responsible for a portfolio of approx. 20 projects and programmes, with delivery timescales that range from 3 months to 9 months (small change and large programmes are included in the portfolio of around £2.5m-£5m). You will need to be ambitious and on the ascent in your career and want to be in an environment that will not only give you the opportunity to move to a Director level role in the next 18 months to 2 years, but work for a company that will support you in that move. Projects include: • Network upgrade • Desktop and Laptop companywide roll out across the UK • Multiple Application/ERP hardware upgrades/rollouts • Voice Systems Working closely with all areas the Technology team including their technology partners, you will be required to ensure governance is closely adhered to but also have the ability to be “hands on” with project/programme management when required. You will also be working closely with a number of 3rd party onshore outsource organisations so experience of managing 3rd parties is key. Taking ownership and accountability for the team you will have the ability to shape the project strategy with the senior team. The ideal IT Programme Manager will have proven commercial experience within a similar role – leading a team of proven Project Managers, having exposure to both AGILE and Waterfall methodologies. A background in FMCG, CMG, Blue Chip or Retail organisations are of particular interest.
