We are working with a really exciting global fast fashion company based in Greater Manchester. The Head of Brand Communications is a new role within the team, and will be working as part of the marketing function to manage the development, delivery and optimisation of our above the line marketing strategy across the globe. Leading a team of 3 and working with brand, media and creative agencies, you’ll deliver campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and amplification across media channels. Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities: · Working with a diverse set of stakeholders across marketing, creative, merchandising and trade functions, develop brand marketing plans for all key regions · Planning activity alongside digital channels to ensure the correct blend of brand, mid funnel and performance marketing · Working with our in house creative team to ensure the correct use of media channels to ensure our innovative and amazing communications reach their target market · Ensuring an effective media buying process is in place to drive cost efficiencies · Measuring brand performance with regular tracking of brand KPIs, ensuring our media influences consumer perceptions · Monitoring, reporting and reacting to competitor brand activity · Ensure that the necessary tools are in place to manage activity effectively · Liaising closely with the Customer Intelligence team; regular progress reporting of results and actionable insights to key stakeholders · Collaborate with other channel owners to share learnings, increase effectiveness, and reduce costs · Keep abreast of relevant innovation and developments to make sure the brand is represented through cutting edge and innovative activity · Set objectives for direct reports and ensure their professional development · Manage agencies (if relevant) and third party suppliers · Forecasting and budgeting; budget management and further investment business cases What success will look like (non exhaustive list): · Buy-in of strategy and plan from key stakeholders · Making a difference, and quickly · Agreed measures of success for brand marketing in each territory · A well-managed and happy team and third party suppliers who are adding value Experience: · Experienced Brand Communications expert manager with hands-on experience and a proven track record in delivering innovative brand campiagns (essential) · Line management (essential) · International experience (preferred) · Budgetary management (preferred) · Fashion retail (preferred) Other requirements: · An eye for creative and ability to innovate (essential) · Strong stakeholder influencing, management and communication (essential) · Analytical, data-driven, and numerate (essential) · Passion for the brand (essential) · Delivers with great execution (essential) · Adaptable and flexible and not fazed by a fast-paced and changeable environment (essential) · Familiar with brand tracking and media measurement tools (essential) · Additional language (preferred) What We Will Give You: · A competitive salary · Pension (that we contribute to as well) · 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) · Bonus (subject to company and personal performance) · Staff discount · Salary Sacrifice schemes such as cycle to work and childcare vouchers · Death in service benefits · Brand new, state of the art, fun working environment.
