The Company We are currently recruiting for a specialised local authority organisation who are based between Sunderland and Washington. We are looking to recruit an experienced Procurement Administrator to join their busy team with an immediate start. The Role This position has the attractive working hours of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and is initially until the end of December 2016 with the strong chance of further extension. We are looking for applicants who are available to start 20th October for this vacancy. Please note that we would require references (employment or student) covering a minimum of the last 2 years to consider you for this role. Job Duties As Procurement Administrator, you will be covering the following job duties: Providing a full range of administrative support SAP and Accounts Payable Daily use of Microsoft Software including: Word, Excel and Outlook Reports Using Excel to filter, sort and present data in a variety of formats Attending meetings Database management Document control Other ad-hoc office support duties The Person Superb communication skills - both written and verbal Proven previous experience of SAP Excellent literacy and numeracy skills Proven, recent office-support experience Ability to on own initiative and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines Prioritising workloads IT literate including fully competent using Microsoft packages Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels If the above role is of interest to you, please do not hesitate to apply to this advert attaching your CV.
