My Client, a leader within the food & beverage industry are now looking to take on a Project Manager within their UK Project team. Working within the Dairy industry, they are ideally looking for a candidate who has experience within either the dairy or beverage industry. Person Specification: Minimum of a Degree in a relevant engineering subject and extensive experience in a relevant industry. Experience in a project management role. Must have very good knowledge and experience of common process equipment i.e. hygienic valves, instruments, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuges, homogenisers. Must have knowledge and experience of hygienic design and CIP design principles Must be competent in process flow design and P&ID design and development Must be competent in equipment layout drawing preparation and reviewing Familiarity with automation and electrical controls would be an advantage. Familiarity with design reviews, HAZOPs and design risk assessments would be an advantage Familiarity with industry design standards e.g. EHEDG, CE directives, would be an advantage Must have a good understanding of key process operations such as mass transfer [pumping] and heat transfer Must have experience of planning and controlling the key steps of project execution - planning, design, budgeting, purchasing, installation and commissioning. Must have a full drivers licence and be willing to travel in the UK for extended periods. Proficient in Office software - Word, Excel, Project and Powerpoint Good presentation skills.
