This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Buyer, managing a spend of £10m across raw materials, spare parts, machinery and services. This role is an chance to work in a FTSE 100 manufacturing business with a global reach, creating the end to end procurement strategy of key commodities and services. Client Details The business are a leading FTSE 100 manufacturing business, creating, developing and producing a number of key products that are globally well known. They use their wide knowledge to help develop individuals throughout their careers and process to senior roles within the company Description Role would be manager £10m spend of raw materials, spare parts, machinery and services Negotiate supplier agreements and agree contracts across multiple suppliers Identifying opportunities to bring new cost savings. Working in a very project led environment Developing key supplier relationships, negotiating on major contracts and driving efficiency. Develop and implement fixed contracts and Service level agreements with key vendors and contractors, ensure review processes and KPI's are in place. Profile The successful candidate must have: Large experience within manufacturing environment (or Chemical) Strong stakeholders management skills Experience working closely with an end user or customer Strong Stakeholder management Articulate and adaptable Self drive attitude Ability to work autonomously Job Offer up to £40,000 plus benefits and package This job was originally posted as
