Senior Communications Officer (maternity cover) Leeds 12-14 months Annual package £33k Can you pick out the facts from a report and turn it into a must-read story for a newspaper or staff publication? Can you lead a team providing the communications for a progressive housing association with a strong social purpose? If the answer is yes, we want to hear from you. Our client is at an exciting stage in its success story. They are a charitable housing association providing homes, care and support across Yorkshire. This role will take the lead on corporate communications matters, working with the interim head of HR and communications and other key stakeholders, ensuring the corporate and service area communications needs of the organisation are met and exceeded successfully. They are looking for people who are committed to the company values and can demonstrate this by: Reliable – You will have experience of managing teams with good organising and planning skills, and educated to degree and / or hold a professional qualification. Enthusiastic – You will have a good understanding and experience of communications planning and the range of tools for implementation, as well as a high level of written skills for both news-style writing and publication writing. Respectful – You will be an excellent communicator, with experience of building internal relationships successfully.
