Our client is a successful food manufacturer with a reputation for producing the highest quality products. Through business growth they are recruiting for a Quality Manager . The Role · To manage and maintain control people, projects and processes so as to achieve or exceed expected quality performance results. · Manage site product and environmental, allergen, specification, pH, aW sampling plans, result interpretation and trending · Manage all factory monitoring activities – GMP, CCP, Glass & Plastic, fabrication, hygiene ensuring when non-conformance is raised, investigations and corrective and preventative actions are implemented and effectively communicated within the business · To oversee the coordination of NPD activity to ensure Food Safety, legality & quality standards are achieved or exceeded for the successful launches of new products. · To ensure the effective co-ordination of all technical projects and initiatives to ensure delivery is on time and to budget · Manage company adherence to all product quality standards agreed with own brand customers · To drive the delivery of the highest quality food safety standards throughout the factory to ensure the development of a ‘Quality’ culture. Ensure standards of hygiene and good housekeeping appropriate to a quality food manufacturer are maintained (GMP) · To drive the Company’s LEAN agenda by; taking ownership for and delivering good quality meetings that focus on action generation and completion; the delivery of a daily review leading root cause investigations and action planning sessions; the delivery of weekly quality, Food Safety and complaint reviews; the adoption of LEAN problem solving techniques. The Candidate · 3 years’ experience Technical experience preferably in a food environment, 1 years’ experience in a Quality management position · Advanced HACCP certification · Food science degree qualified · Experience with C I principles What’s on Offer? · A salary of up to £30,000 DOE · Working for a business that a very strong ethical presence If you are interested in this position then please forward a copy of your most up to date CV.
