Diverse Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for world leading rehabilitation provider with clinical expertise in prosthetics, orthotics, special seating and wheelchairs to recruit for an experienced Product Manager based in Basingstoke. You will be responsible for the management of the product portfolio, development and execution of the product Marketing Plan. Ensuring all routes to markets, existing and new customer relationships and key product differentials are maximised to achieve the best possible sales and return on investment. The key responsibilities for this role are; • To work in conjunction with local marketing, collate market intelligence, analyse competitor activity and market trends and develop relationships with key customers to create market intelligence and insight to inform portfolio strategy, product positioning and development. • Management of the product portfolio and contribute to the NPD process to help optimise project selection, maximise competitiveness and market share, coordinating new introductions and retirements. • Work with the Head of Marketing to contribute to group strategy • Plan, implement and control innovative programmes to increase market penetration and profitability for the portfolio. • Work with New Product Development, Manufacturing, Customer Services and local Markets to develop and deliver detailed launch plans, including design, positioning, pricing, logistics and training. • Work with the Marketing Campaigns Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to provide input for comprehensive internal and external communications campaigns to help ensure maximum uptake • Manage the launch budget and other resources In addition to the above the successful candidate will have the following attributes; • Experience of New Product Development processes and launch programmes within your current post. • Management experience within of a portfolio of products • ‘Big thinking ideals’ • Experience in working with medical devices in manufacturing. • A bias to engineering to degree level. The post holder will be required to promote a positive image of the Company and work with discretion and diplomacy at all times. Some information handled within this post will be strictly confidential and must be treated as such. Patient confidentiality must be respected at all times. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible in their approach, undertaking, as necessary, any other duties appropriate to the position. You will also be required to travel to locations other than your normal place of work. Due to the nature of your role, it may be necessary to work to time constraints and tight deadlines. This may occasionally require staying late or working outside normal working hours of attendance.
