To manage a team of Associates processing merchandise through the inbound department in required quantities to acceptable levels of quality and efficiency. Client Details Global FMCG brand Description The Manager will be responsible for the control of the work flow and organisation of operatives to ensure that the standards of performance, attendance, quality and conduct are met. Plan and organise resources within the team, influencing the Shift Operations Manager appropriately, to ensure all targets are met Assist with recruitment to the appropriate level of resource to meet business needs Develop and monitor all associates within their department, including probationary reviews and monthly and annual appraisals to develop a high performing team Conduct regular team briefing sessions to deliver company information and to receive feedback from the team to foster team spirit and build morale Reinforce Company wide initiatives with peers, line managers and Associates Implement Best Standard Practice and controls to minimise shrink to accepted location targets Ensure good housekeeping standards are met and maintained in line with responsibilities under the H&S plan. Profile Able to demonstrate building, developing and managing an effective team Apply appropriate Health & Safety and legislative requirements to the safe running of the department Ability to prioritise work efficiently, to set and achieve measurable targets and work within set budgets Basic computer literacy Able to clearly communicate at all levels, both verbally and written Adaptable and self aware Able to problem solve and innovate Utilise opportunities to improve work methods Job Offer A salary between £30,000 - £37,000 dependant on experience - plus benefits This job was originally posted as
