We urgently require a passionate support worker to work across a service that support adults with learning disabilities in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will put the people we support at the centre of their care, have a proactive approach and be keen to progress through an ever growing company. The organisation has a number of homes across oxfordshire that support clients with Learning disabilities and issues surrounding challenging behaviour, Autism, Mental health, and minor physical disabilities. The ideal candidate would lead by example and provide excellent support to the residents with Learning disabilities. The ideal candidate would be progression orientated, have a person centred approach and be experienced developing a new service and team. This is a permanent position with a pay rate of £8.55 per hour As a support worker you will be required to undertake the following tasks: - Implementing person-centred care plans and health action plans are regularly reviewed and Actioned. - Support service users in line with CQC/CSSIW Guidelines and Companies policies - Ensure the service meets all organisational and statutory requirements and complies with Care Quality Commission Guidelines and our own standards, policies and procedures. The ideal candidate would: - Have an active interest in making a difference to the lives of people - Have the drive to support the successful running of a service and their team - Be pro-active and have a keen interested in learning disabilities You will: - Have a strong background in working with Adults with learning disabilities. - An excellent communicator and be able to provide a person-centred support. - Be able to prioritise your workload - Have up to date knowledge of the needs of clients with learning disabilities - Have completed, or be willing to undertake an NVQ Qualification.
