Reading Town Centre (no parking) Salary DOE Our growing client offers a highly professional outsourced HR service and is now looking to recruit a full time HR Consultant to manage a portfoli of clients. This role requires a candidate who enjoys delivering a 360 degree service to their clients. You will have very strong business acumen and be able to ensure the client is up to date in all areas of employment law. You will also assist in developing new revenue streams within that client and implementing HR software solutions if needed. When you are not supporting this client you will assist the rest of the team with their client portfolio needs. Our client is seeking a CIPD qualified candidate (leve 5 or 7 or above) and TUPE experience would be welcome. Your role: Portfolio management of one key client; developing, maintaining and retaining relationships Participation in continuous improvement of HR service deliverables Provide guidance and assistance to your client on a range of HR issues consistent with latest legislation and guidelines Responsible for client service delivery on HR matters to assigned to your key client: o Ownership of the client relationship on HR matters o Manage client expectations as to service delivery etc. o Negotiation skills in order to drive commercial coverage Strategic awareness of business and HR software challenges Strong presentation skills and the ability to manage clients in training sessions Proactively seek opportunity to provide HR advice to clients The person: Proven ability to apply HR practices to commercial situations Excellent HR generalist experience (Professional Services or a Financial Services experience preferred) CIPD qualified (level 5-7 or above) Experience and interest in implementing new HR I.T systems Solid problem solving skills and business acumen Excellent management skills Excellent written and oral communication Ability to build relationships and to influence positively at all levels High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Well organised and a good planner Self-motivated and reliable Good upward management skills Ability to work under pressure Flexible approach - able to travel to client meetings when required This job was originally posted as
