Systems Admin Support Engineer - Brighton Salary £25k to £32k Job Specification Our client is a telecoms software developing consultancy, specialising in the development and integration of next-generation, carrier-grade applications and supports a major telco with their SIP based audio conferencing product. As a growing company they are looking to recruit a Systems Admin Support Engineer to add to their team of dedicated support engineers. The Role and Your requirements The ideal candidate will come from a support background with three or more years experience of some of the following technologies: Linux (RedHat); Puppet; Ruby; Oracle; Nagios/Munin; DevOps methodologies; Subversion. The role is to provide remote full systems support, to include incident management and fault diagnosis, proactive systems monitoring, hardware and software management, stress/load testing and alarm/trap management. This role is suitable for a proficient, dedicated and highly skilled candidate who is willing to learn and can quickly get up to speed in terms of understanding the product, its underlying technologies and how to support it in accordance with defined processes and procedures. You will receive the appropriate training throughout your employment to ensure you have all the right skills to be a success. Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with shifts 24 hours per day worked on a rota basis. Salary and benefits: Up to £32,000 per annum offered in line with the candidate's demonstrated skills and experience Occasionally there is weekend work, paid at time in lieu, 1 .5 or double for Sunday. As with all support roles there is a call out element to the position which is paid in addition to your basic salary. Private medical insurance is offered on completion of probation, as well as the chance to travel internationally. Annual leave is 25 days per annum.
