Our client requires an experienced Fee Earner to join their vibrant and very busy Wills and Probate team in Norwich. The job holder will independently earning fees in relation to the provision of Wills and Probate work and assisting the department fee earners in work to contribute to the effective functioning of the Wills and Probate Department. Key Responsibilities Independently earning fees in relation to the provision of Wills and Probate work. Assisting the department fee earners, in all aspects of Wills and Probate work to contribute to the effective functioning of the Wills and Probate Department. Perform duties professionally and efficiently, working within the regulatory and legislative frameworks. Attending on the clients both in and out of the office. Assist in taking Probate instructions and the administration of estates from inception to conclusion. Handle all account matters in a professional, confidential and efficient way. Complete all relevant work in reasonable time. Ensure expenditure is kept within budget limits as agreed with clients. Revise cost estimates as appropriate. Provide departmental reports and file reviews as requested, within required timeframes and to deal satisfactorily with any corrective actions arising from file reviews. Achieve personal fee earning and chargeable hours targets, and to effectively contribute to departmental performance targets and criteria. Assume responsibility for the financial management of client files in accordance with the Law Society and the Firm's policies. Experience & Skills Required Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Interested in practice Logical analytical thinker Organised and methodical Proactive Uses initiative Excellent communication and client relationship skills Good written and oral presentation skills Willing to develop expertise and undertake research Team player Working Hours Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
