Our client is a global leader in retail. The key role of this Department is to manage and communicate with Suppliers and Hauliers to deliver stock into internal Distribution Centres. Candidates will communicate all activities relating to moving and managing stock. The role involves daily/weekly/periodic reports and KPI’s for the business, ensuring the information held within them is correct. Offering superior ad timely internal customer service to the distribution centres is essential. To respond rapidly to store ordering on failed orders, communicate with suppliers, carriers and depots to resolve issues and get stock back into the business to protect customer service levels. This role involves internet based systems, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Exec, Mainframe (LM/Denver) and Access databases, PARAGON (ideal however not essential) Salary:- ·£11 per hour (£21,000 equivalent) Key Results Areas: All daily operations are processed while routines are adhered to All orders are booked in around depot capability and space, promotional orders, peak ordering periods, emergency and failed orders All issues around store ordering and stock availability are resolved All failed orders are communicated with suppliers and hauliers to ensure issues are resolved and orders rescheduled Competencies: Customer Focus Attention to Detail Team Working Multi-tasking IT skills SAP This job was originally posted as
