Due to the continual growth of West Bridgford Tennis Club and our dedication to providing the best facilities and experiences to our members we are looking to recruit a Kitchen Supervisor /Cook. There will be a minimum of 25 hours per week (extra hours may be available) and this role will cover 7 days a week with 2 days off. Essential Requirement Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate Job Description Preparing, presenting and serving food Organising the day to day running of the kitchen Ensuring that health and safety and hygiene regulations are complied with. Maintaining appropriate standards of cleanliness in the kitchen Planning menus (in consultation with the Club Manager and other staff and club members) Maintaining stock levels and ordering new supplies as required Ensuring food is ready or prepared for any matches or events that food is required Monitoring products and service provided by the club. Stock rotation and use by labels and dates are in place Maintaining all necessary records related to catering Serving drinks and snacks as required ensuring all rules and regulations are met (alcohol to aged 18 or over), taking food orders and payment as required Be available to work flexible hours if needed The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, they will have preferably had experience within a similar environment and must have food preparation experience. Above all they will be hard working, friendly, outgoing and can show a passion for ensuring our members and visitors enjoy their experience.
