The role of Group HR Manager will work with the senior leadership team to deliver a consistent HR service and ensure that the managers within the business are equipped with the tools to lead and drive growth. You will partner the Chairman and FD, delivering group wide HR initiatives in a way that is fit for purpose for the UK business. You will drive both strategic and tactical HR solutions on a part time basis. They are flexible on whether that is over 4 full days or 5 part days Client Details This is a growing business with a down to earth and entrepreneurial approach to growth. You will support a population over 3 companies with both production and head office staff circa 400 FTE. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is essential. Based in Derbyshire with easy access from the M1 this would appeal to candidates from South Yorkshire to East Midlands. Description Key deliverables of the role: Challenge and stretch people managers when it comes to their people Drive consistency of approach across the group Drive Management development capability across all three business back office managers to meet the current standards of Production area HR KPI & HSE reporting for Group Tailoring implementation of Group people practices and requirements to UK needs and expectation Profile The successful candidate will: Have strong commercial acumen and approach to implementation of HR policy Have a sensible approach to implementing corporate people objectives that are 'fit for purpose' for the UK business Strong relationship building capability and influencing skills Establishes credibility quickly Proven background in leadership coaching, development and partnering Proven experience of rolling out a talent management program inclusive of performance management tools, talent mapping, implementing PDP's and succession planning for managers TUPE and M&A experience Good all round employment law and understanding of HSE Potentially manage HSE outputs and KPIS CIPD qualified desirable Experience of working in a production environment essential Job Offer The client is offering flexibility of hours but ideally 4 days a week, a full time equivalent salary of £60-65K DOE plus benefits.
