The successful candidate will have a number of different attributes which will make them suitable. First and foremost, commercial acumen is key. With over £3bn being invested in my client over the next five years, driving value for money is now more than ever, exceptionally important. Role Purpose: · Providing the procurement team with relevant and accurate professional advice surrounding the Public Contract Regulations from 2015 · Review governance framework, and ensure it is fit for purpose · Driving innovation in a large and complex organisation · Managing a procurement developer Person specification: · Strong commercial acumen is essential · An individual who is focussed on achieving an outcome, with a flexible and consistent approach · A pragmatic and strong leader, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo · Influencer, able to negotiate effectively Experience required · Extensive knowledge of OJEU regulations · Previous work on high complexity Public sector projects · Knowledge of strategic and operational contract management This job was originally posted as
