What is the main purpose of the role? Ensure that the C&B department delivers a high quality service to the customers maximising on all sales opportunities. You will ensure delivery of great customer service at best possible cost within Group guidelines and satisfying legal requirements. Key Responsibilities and Duties Promote a helpful and professional image to the customer, giving full co-operation to any customer requiring attention. Handle guest queries and complaints and take the appropriate action to ensure total guest satisfaction is achieved. Communicate any problems to senior management, and liaise with them with complaints beyond your control. Actively participate in any revenue and sales activities operated plus any specific operational activities. Using your knowledge of our products, upsell at every opportunity. Ensure rooms are set to appropriate standard and all client requirements are met. The Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role, it is essential that you enjoy working and dealing with the public and being part of a team. You should be confident, pleasant and an excellent articulate communicator; able to stay calm under pressure and remain courteous when dealing with difficult situations.
