Compliance Manager Well known organisation providing general insurance products are looking to recruit a Compliance Manager reporting directly to the Head of Risk & Compliance to provide advice and support to the business on areas of regulatory compliance and conduct risk. Ensuring adherence to and maintaining regulations and standards laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority and other regulatory authorities as required. Key Responsibilities: The Compliance Manager is responsible for managing the business compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. This includes:- Management and review of published compliance policies Assisting in the design and implementation of training programs Providing advice and updates on regulatory issues, thematic reviews and FCA publications Considering the impact of regulatory developments and lead change programmes if required Identifying and managing regulatory and conduct risks Implementing and maintaining suitable systems and controls Providing compliance input and support to change and development projects Providing compliance input for new products, developments, initiatives and policy changes Collating Compliance MI from all areas and producing MI, dashboards and reports as required Maintaining compliance records including breach logs Ensuring FCA registers are current and up to date Maintaining relations with Partners’ compliance teams and attending meetings as necessary Providing a sign off point for financial promotions and other customer facing documentation where required Design and delivery of the Annual Compliance Plan Adhering to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance and Conduct Risk Key Skills and Knowledge: Minimum 8 years experience in Regulatory and compliance, in general insurance intermediary or broker Experience of working in a fast moving and entrepreneurial environment In depth knowledge of FCA regulation Good problem solving, analytical, communication and report writing skills Commercial awareness and the good judgement to apply a pragmatic approach, when appropriate Ability to work with Partners and staff at all levels Experience of managing and developing staff On offer is a basic c70k-80k plus car allowance and bonus and benefits.
