My client, a leading retailer, is seeking a 3rd line team manager to sit within the Group's Infrastructure Operations function. I am seeking an infrastructure manager who has experience of leading a team of 3rd line engineers, as well as remaining relatively hands on. This is a brand new role which has been created in order to support the delivery of a major service redesign of Office365 within a live environment. This role will require an infrastructure team manager who is comfortable being given a large amount of authority, with the knowledge and confidence to lead from the font, making decisions rather than following orders. Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of 20 3rd line support engineers Own the service design for Office365 across the Group Ensure continuity of the service even at times of rapid change Key Competencies Good experience in running a 3rd-line support team Excellent leadership experience including resource management, development and recruitment Experience in at least one large global organisation with a globally disparate user-base In depth knowledge of Office365 Engagement with 3rd parties This business is a UK retailing company headquartered in London, but with its IT business in Southampton.
