Software Support Analyst - £20,000 - £28,000 - Cardiff We are looking for a Software Support Analyst with a SQL background, to join our Cardiff based client. Working within a Service Desk type of environment you will be providing software product support through providing incident resolution, root cause analysis and troubleshooting of underlying issue as well as providing first class customer service. The role consists of varied responsibilities; mainly support of the in-house Oracle solution including small-scale development but also some front end web development. Experience of working with any of the front end technologies below would be required, as that would provide the foundation for relevant cross-training to be given. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iQuery, Java, .net, Eclipse, Rally, TOAD, AJAX, SOAP, ColdFusion You will be given full product training but as a starting point you must have technical expertise in SQL Server with the ability to create tables, procedures (T-SQL) and write SQL scripts and queries. To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator with proven customer service skills who has previously worked in a database/SQL based technical support role.
