Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen in a manufacturing business in North Nottinghamshire for a stand alone HR Manager. This business has an aggressive growth plan and is therefore now seeking to appoint a modern and forward thinking HR Manager to be part of their Senior Management team; to lead the business in the people strategy and implementing an effective and proactive HR provision. Your new role As part of the Senior Management team you will need to quickly and effectively review the HR provision and overall business needs in regards to a people plan, and identify a 'plan of attack'. This will incorporate areas such as: Management Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Salary & Incentives review, Policy & Procedure review, Handbook review/updating, Company Communications, Rebranding, Training needs, Appraisals/Staff development, HR Reporting and Generalist HR provision. This is an exciting new role where you genuinely get the opportunity to assist in shaping a growing business through the provision of a strategic and efficient HR service. What you'll need to succeed The successful applicant will be a proactive HR Professional with the right blend of strategic ideas & planning, coupled with operational HR delivery background. Ideally you will have worked in a fast paced and relevant environment which has synergies with this organisation; such as manufacturing, logistics or retail. Experience of business change and growth including HR systems would be an advantage. CIPD qualification or working towards is preferred but experience, ideas and energy are more important. What you'll get in return A salary of £40000 to £45000 is on offer DOE and qualification level. There is other benefits on offer including a company pension. This is a FULL TIME, 5 days a week role working 37.5 hours a week - hours of opening of the organisation are fixed but can be flexible for the right person. Flexibility is required periodically for management meetings and staff communication events.
