This is an exceptional opportunity for ambitious Chef de Partie and Junior Sous chefs eager to progress in a highly reputable, high quality establishment. Our client is one of Cheshire’s finest country pubs with an outstanding restaurant recommended by The Good Food Guide over 9 consecutive years, and winning ‘ County Dining Pub of the year’ award on four occasions. With an excellent reputation and a passion for gastronomy, they have a b usy kitchen serving food of the highest quality and presentation , and are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Chef de Partie and Junior Sous to join the team . The atmosphere in the kitchen is professional with lots of friendly banter and good humour whilst serving dishes to the highest standards. The successful applicant will have a good quality background as a junior chef, and be self-motivated with the drive and the ambition to move up through the kitchen. In a nutshell, you’ll need an ability to cook accurately, season correctly and present dishes impeccably whilst still smiling. There are exceptionally good prospects for promotion for the right candidate s with the following characteristics: - Conscientious, reliable chef, smartly presented - Eager to learn and progress - A passion for food and service , innovation and trends - The ability to work well under pressure - Excellent communication skills - Good sense of humour An attractive basic salary is offered for each role, negotiable depending on experience circa £18 ,000 -22 ,500 pa tips circa £ 2500 pa leading to an OTE circa £20,500 - £25,000 , and exceptionally good prospects for promotion in this fast moving business.
