My Client is looking for someone who wants to develop themselves and forge a career in Procurement. Working with an existing team of 2 buyers in conjunction with their operational team, this role requires a constant focus upon daily stock levels, requirements & anticipated deliveries to ensure that they have correct product as required to fulfil their customer commitments. Client Details A leading brand in the FMCG market. My Client has experienced significant growth in recent years, and an opportunity for a Supply Chain Buyer has arisen to join there purchasing team and continue their expansion. Description The responsibilities of the Supply Chain Buyer include; Organise Purchasing & deliveries. Manage stock levels across multiple sites, working with the Goods In & Production teams. Become a point of contact for international sites. Work closely with supplies dealing with quality issues and claims. Keep purchase orders up to date on the system. Organise samples for the design / account management teams. Profile Essential Skills for the Supply Chain Buyer; Experience of Buying in FMCG. Strong Excel, literacy & numeracy skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Keen eye for detail. Desirable Skills; CIPS Level 3 of higher. Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains. Knowledge of Sales, Purchasing, Bill of Materials & Materials Replenishment Planning procedures & systems. Job Offer Supply Chain Buyer E.
