Their clients include leading financial institutions, pharmaceutical giants, and utility conglomerates. They specialise in high-speed, professional applications with dynamic user interfaces targeting multiple platforms. The successful candidate will work on a range of new applications using technologies such as (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript/Typescript/ES6, Backbone, Web Services and Sockets). Our Ideal Candidate: · Has a strong web application development background and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Web Services (a demo or portfolio to view would be ideal). · Experienced in using JS Frameworks (Backbone, Angular, React or similar), design patterns and build systems. · Is a technology enthusiast Stays on top of new technologies and engages with the team. · Takes initiative in problem solving and appreciates an elegant solution. Bonus Points For: · Experience with technologies like jQuery, SASS, Handlebars/templating, jQueryUI, Node, RESTful web services, Gulp, Jenkins CI, Java, Python, Bash, Socket Programming, Visual Studio, Adobe Photoshop, kdb, MongoDB, MySQL. · Visual design experience, understanding of good user experience and responsive design. · Familiarity with testing frameworks such as QUnit, Selenium, Nightwatch, Mocha. · Knowledge of project management and version control tools such as JIRA, GitHub and Subversion. · Linux server administration: shell scripting, web server configuration, Tomcat, nginx.
