Storage SE/Pre Sales Consultant – Channel Gartner has named Our Client a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for General-Purpose Arrays, after two years as a Visionary. Type: Permanent Location South of England Salary: To £100k 20% Bonus , Car Allowance, Health, Pension Stock We require an calibre Storage Pre Sales Consultant to focus on Our key partners such as Computacenter and Logicallis. Responsibilities for the Storage SE/Pre Sales Consultant – Channel will include (but not limited to): 1.Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or similar education preferred 2. A minimum of 5 year’s experience in a similar role in solution, consultative or challenger pre-selling; prior experience pre-selling complex SaaS solutions at the enterprise level a huge plus 3. Industry expertise required, experience with storage software and hardware solutions preferred 4. Work with key Channel Partners 5. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, work independently, identify gaps and take actions to close them 6. Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic that is self-motivated and accountable 7. Team player although has the ability to work autonomously and on their own initiative 8. Proven ability to work effectively with Sales-teams and cross functional teams 9. Ability to motivate and work collaboratively across a matrixed organization. Skills required for the Storage SE/Pre Sales Consultant – Central Government include (but are not limited to): The Pre Sales consultant for Flash storage will have significant storage experience ideally with certificationsAlso the Pre Sales consultant/SE will have Storage experience – Big 6 (EMC, NTAP, HP, HDS, IBM, Dell) and ideally knowledge Start up experience would be a huge benefit and could be a massive shock to the system if you’ve never done it before Ideally you would have worked with or for key Channel partners.
