A leading FTSE organisation who is going through a large procurement transformation has a number of roles across indirect categories to expand the existing class procurement function. This will be a great opportunity for an experienced procurement expert to bring their experience to the table. All roles, reporting into the Head of Indirects or Category Leads to maintain the company is achieving the best cost efficiency and service delivery from all relevant suppliers. Categories to be managed: Professional Services, FM, Property, HR, M&E and other services Role overview, responsibilities and experience required: Manage categories autonomously incorporating the entire en-to-end procurement process A mixture of reporting into the Head of Procurement and Category Leads Commercially focused to maintain the optimum costs for the company Manage all key stakeholders across the business ensuring they are aware of the benefits of procurement Manage multi-million £ spends in each designated categories Act as a consultant to the rest of the business and partner with relevant business areas Take on multiple projects at once and enjoy working in a fast paced environment Must have proven procurement experience in multi-site environments Managed indirect or corporate service spend, leading projects from initiation to on-going SRM Able to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of stakeholder A robust negotiation style with all new and existing suppliers Degree or MCIPS would be preferable - not essential though INDPRO This job was originally posted as
