Application Support Lead My client is seeking an Application Support Lead to manage and develop the Application Support team that supports and maintains the application systems of the company. As the Application Support Lead you will set objectives for direct reports while interfacing with internal business departments and functions to manage the service level expected from the Application team. In addition as the Application Support Lead to co-ordinate system deployment and changes to ensure requirements are met. Also you will be required to maintain appropriate procedures, compliance and service level monitoring, performance reporting, vendor liaison, as well as the approval of application change requests. The successful Application Support Lead will possess the following previous responsibilities:- Managing a service-focused application support and development team. Assessing the impact of proposed changes on production applications. Managing and developing a team of technical experts to deliver business outcomes and meet performance criteria in either a line management setting. Developing and implementing operational processes and procedures. As the Application Support Lead you will be required to possess the following experience:- Supporting systems based on Microsoft, Oracle, SQL Server. Software testing and regression testing. Implementing automated unit testing from an application development perspective. Change and Release Management. UML design techniques.
