Bid Manager Leading Insurance Company Sunday Times ‘Top 25 Best Big Companies to Work For’ £37K - £60K Market Leading Benefits Hove Permanent, Full Time Experienced Bid Manager required within one of the UK’s leading Insurance companies. Working within the Insurance New Partnerships division your responsibility will be to help secure new Insurance distribution deals. The primary focus of the role will be to own the production, delivery and content of all outward facing communications as part of the end to end process for securing new deals. The chosen candidate will have a background in sales/marketing and an understanding of the use of data/customer insight. You will use the latest communications skills, mediums and technology to deliver market leading stimuli which will enhance their ability to win new Insurance Partnership deals. This is an exciting role which offers a great deal of scope for the successful individual to shape the way their presentations, partner packs, messaging and solutions are delivered to new partners. Key Responsibilities Be the lead for researching competitors and market intelligence as well as detailed information about potential Partner prospects and presenting this research in a manner fit for purpose for its target audience. Be lead on behalf of the Insurance business in respect of potential new partner and tender activity. Ensuring quality and timely production and submissions of RFP’s, RFI’s, Tender Presentations and any other required documentation. Be responsible for the production of all external facing material from the New Accounts team. Identify and assess new opportunities for distribution partnerships to sell Insurance products and propositions, ensuring that these opportunities meet companies profit, volume and embedded value targets. Provide support to the New Account Sales Directors in their development of new partnership opportunities. Develop and deliver changes and improvements to existing Insurance propositions, covering areas such as product design, distribution strategy, pricing models and customer journeys from initial idea through to delivery to market, in order to support the ability to secure new partnership deals. Ensuring that these new propositions optimise the best possible customer experience, deliver partner tailored solutions and maximise revenues and profit. Project management facilitation for RFP, RFI and Tender responses. Develop future sales and marketing plans which support new partner acquisition. Lead and contribute, to off-site client facing meeting as required. Key Experience: An experienced sales / marketing professional with a proven track record of producing the highest quality presentations and pitch decks. Development and delivery of new Propositions Relationship management experience in a face to face and remote capacity is essential. Understanding of the Banks, Building Society and Affinity Insurance market including the role of Aggregator led distribution. A history of developing and managing strong networks of internal and external contacts Skills & Knowledge: Ability to create and deliver market leading fit for purpose external facing communications such as presentations, pitch deck and company credentials. Ability to develop innovative solutions which use the latest technologies and market trends. You should have knowledge of roles & responsibilities across Marketing, Proposition development, Sales, Operational processing, and Product development. Ability to manage challenging workloads and juggle multiple requirements. Ability to present to key internal and external parties. Insurance marketing with a history of delivery through all relevant media. System analytics knowledge desirable.
