We are looking for a Dynamic, motivated and highly organised and efficient Account Manager for our successful Engineering client based in Northumberland. This position requites someone who has experience in managing multiple accounts within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.The role will manage the interface between the company and the customer, maintaining and developing existing business relationships and supporting new business development. Responsibilities: Enquiry Management Contract reviews Sales Order Enquiries Operations Data Management Managing customer concerns and evaluations Business development Project Management Package Details: To start on a temp basis from November 2016 to May 2017. Then review with possible offer to take role on a permanent basis. The salary rate is £18,000 -£20,000 pa increasing if the move is made into the permanent role. Requirements: Minimum qualifications - Good standard of secondary education plus additional worked based qualifications in relevant subjects (e.g. business, customer service, purchasing). Experience of working in a Customer focused role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Understanding of the Supply Chain Process and ability to implement critical path planning. Ability to manage multiple Projects and prioritise in a fast moving, demanding environment. Competent in building strong relationships both internally and externally.Have an ability to resolve customer service issues relating to operational issues and lead time conflicts. Strong IT skills, able to manage and analyse large amounts of data, create reports, and present information to management board. MUST have strong administration skills Both a consultative and pro-active approach to Account Management. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
