INTERIM QUALITY MANAGER – SOMERSET Our Client is a major global player in the optoelectronics industry Due to staff redeployment there is an immediate requirement for an INTERIM QUALITY MANAGER to spearhead the AS9100 recertification program at their Somerset facility which is due for audit in mid-December. The key focus of this Interim role is to ensure all steps are taken to deliver a fully successful audit. You will be immediately available and fully conversant with all aspects of AS9100. The project will run for a minimum of 3 months and may extend by mutual consent. Day rate is competitive for such a focussed role and full travel and accommodation expenses will be paid additionally. You will have, as a minimum: Degree level engineering qualification or equivalent Previous success in a high visibility Interim Quality Management role, ideally within a technical development/manufacturing environment Relevant industry experience of introducing and maintaining AS9100 / ISO13485 Proven Project Management experience Working level demonstration of Lean Six Sigma and awareness of the SC21 or SiG initiatives Strong leadership, influencing, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills Challenging, but with high level of emotional intelligence.
