I’m currently recruiting for a Project Manager covering planned maintenance for my client a housing association based in South London. My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to manage planned maintenance projects with a value of between £2m and £8m per annum. You will need a sound technical knowledge of housing construction and repair and be aware of the latest Building Regulations and Health and Safety Legislation relating to delivering housing refurbishment works. You will also be required to undertake stock condition surveys. Working as part of the busy Programme Management team, you will need to be an effective team player and able to work on your own initiative, managing your workload effectively and delivering excellent services to our customers. An understanding of the challenges of delivering major refurbishment works in a residential environment is essential. Day to day responsibilities of the role will entail delivering a portfolio of projects to the required quality whilst maintaining high levels of customer service, within time and budgetary targets. Projects may include but are not limited to, cyclical decorations, window & door renewal, fire risk assessment building works, external projects including roofs and structural elements, supported housing projects and internals refurbishments projects along with a number of smaller projects. Proven experience and knowledge of delivering these types of improvement project is essential. To be shortlisted you must be able to clearly demonstrate the following:- • Experience of planned works and large scale projects within the housing sector; • Proven experience of management various forms of contracts such as TPC and JCT; • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; • Financial awareness within a project management setting; • Demonstrate a high level of influencing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels; • Customer focused; • Ability to use the full suite of Ms Office packages including MS Project.
