The Company We are proudly representing our public sector client in their search for a Telemarketing Officer to provide efficient telesales and administrative support to one of their key service areas . If you are looking for a temporary assignment please apply for an immediate response. The Role Telesales to employers, learners and partners by creating appointments for their officers. Recruitment and engagement of employers and learners via electronic media . To provide information, advice and guidance to employers, members of the public and partners. To promote the services of the Council to customers within the local area and across the North East . To effectively engage employers and employees onto the Council programmes, including apprenticeships . To meet challenging sales targets set by the Senior management team . To sell learning to employers and partners in the local area and across the North East. To support the Business Development team in all recruitment and promotional activity including administrative tasks . The Person Experience of Working in a telesales environment, using effective written and oral communication skills, meeting challenging target, customer care, the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team Knowledge of: Administrative Procedures, Customer service, Microsoft Office packages Qualifications, 5 GCSE’s grade A-C in Math and English or equivalent This job was originally posted as
