This leading construction and engineering brand are advancing their focus on their manufacturing service offering and as such are setting up a new manufacturing division to improve end product quality and reduce global costs. Through auditing systems knowledge and business know-how they will set up robust supplier auditing process to eradicate 3rd park risk and improve supply chain efficiency. The Role As part of the Supply Chain Audit team, you will spearhead supplier auditing within the manufacturing division to identify potential quality issues with end products. Working with over 200 direct suppliers and over £2 Billion worth of spend, your task will be to eliminate suppliers with a track record in delivering faulty products. You will work with Procurement, Engineers and Supply Chain to implement an informative process for the process and help to deliver business wide savings. Necessary Skills and Experience Prior experience working as a supply chain supplier quality manager and managing new and existing suppliers Knowledge of supplier auditing systems such as ISO9001 and tangible examples of preventing supplier problems Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with different business units Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment The ability to innovate ideas with suppliers and business units Why should you apply?
