Our client is an integrated service provider that delivers a range of building, technical and telecoms services to a wide variety of sectors. They are now looking for a Mechanical Team Leader to join them in London. Within an engaging and people-oriented environment, you will have the chance to increase your leadership skills and contribute to a range of challenging projects. As the Mechanical Team Leader, you’ll support the successful delivery of mechanical contracts, ensuring they are completed to a high standard within set timeframes. Supervising Installation Contractors, you’ll make sure that they carry out tasks in a safe manner, in-line with contractual requirements. You’ll maintain communications with customers during projects and support the Contract Manager during scheduled meetings and contract reviews. Additionally, you’ll liaise with Control Centre Team Leaders to analyse repeat faults and HVAC Engineers’ performance. Your other duties will involve: - Carrying out site visits to identify any potential defects or improvements - Performing planned quality inspections and audits on reactive maintenance calls - Investigating any incidents during projects - Ensuring that HSEQ procedures are implemented and monitored To be considered, you must have: - Experience of performing building fabric, M&E and construction activities across multi-disciplinary projects - Strong IT skills, including MS Word and Excel Customer-focused and proactive, as the Mechanical Team Leader, you must have a solutions-oriented approach. You must also be a strong communicator who is able to provide clear and concise instructions to your team. Ideally, you will have a London Underground working permit, but this is not essential.
