Oracle BI Developer, ODI, OBIEE This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Oracle BI Developer with strong ODI, OBIEE, Database and data warehouse skills, to join my client in a growing function, helping them to use the huge amounts of data at their fingertips to their commercial advantage, as well as that of their customers. Following a major re-branding and currently refreshing their Oracle technology stack as well as introducing new, big data technologies, the Oracle BI Developer will be part of an exciting period of change and innovation. Playing a pivotal role in the provision of UK internet services for the past 20 years, my client offers a dynamic, collaborative, passionate workplace – a fascinating place to work for any Oracle BI Developer, seeking to be a part of the building of new, improved business intelligence software and architecture. The Package Along with a competitive basic salary, the Oracle BI Developer position also attracts a bonus scheme to 10% of salary, a pension contribution, private medical, life assurance, 25 days holiday, childcare vouchers and a cycle to work scheme. My client operates a 36.5 hour week, very flexible around a set core, together with options for working from home. With offices easily commutable from anywhere along the M4 corridor, including by public transport, there is plenty of free parking available onsite. The Role The Oracle BI Developer will be joining a small, close-knit, cross-functional team of BI Developers, Data Analysts, DBAs and Data Scientists, designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence software and architecture, based on the Oracle stack and used by both internal and external customers. With vast quantities of data coming in from multiple sources, the Oracle BI Developer will have a focus on designing and developing ETL using ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), whilst also designing and developing new OBIEE reports. Secondary responsibilities will include the design and documenting of data models and the design and development of objects in an Oracle data warehouse What do I need? My client is seeking an experienced Oracle BI Developer, not only with solid skills, but with evidence of fresh ideas/thinking and a passion for innovation, as they constantly seek to "raise the bar" within the team and company.
