Project Engineer/Senior Project Manager / Engineering Manager (Highways & Sewers) Description: We have a requirement for a Project Engineer/Senior Project Manager/ Divisional Manager (Highways & Sewers) to join our growing Northern regional office. The role(s) are split between site and the office and provide varied day to day duties and responsibilities. Role and Responsibilities: Dealing with Section 38, 104 and 278 Agreements Project Managing multiple Civil Engineering projects Undertaking desk based studies into roads and sewer infrastructure Conducting site investigation works and inspections Liaison with local Council and Water Company Compiling detailed site reports On site supervision/management of Civil Engineering works Obtaining 'sign off of the works from the Adopting Authority and pursuing adoption certification from the various authorities Reviewing tenders and works quotations Commercial assessments, valuations and costing of works Contractor liaison Managing junior staff and engineers Client Management Surveying Review/production of CAD drawings Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulations. Compiling & submitting required adoption documentation Liaising & managing sub-contractors to complete works Solving civil engineering problems Delivery of key works under deadlines Client Liaison Business Development Environment and Working Hours The office is an open plan environment Company core office hours are 8.30 am until 5.00 pm (4:30pm on Fridays) Person Requirements: Dynamic Self-Motivated Excellent Communicator Experienced in Project Management Residential House Building background preferable Experience in dealing with S38, S278 and S104 Experience in Highways and Sewers Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills Safety Management Supervision & management skills CAD Commercial Experience Understanding of current industry trends Excellent communication skills.
