An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Administration Assistant / Paralegal to join a Manchester City Centre based law firm assisting a team of fee earners within the financial services team. The successful candidate will have good administration skills and experience of working within a law firm either a legal administration or paralegal level. The main purpose of the role will be to work productively and professionally, providing administration support for the contact department in a demanding environment. Supporting with all aspects of a focused debt recovery process To record all customer contact accurately on the collections system and update client systems where appropriate. Answer client queries and provide status updates/advice in a professional and efficient manner whether this is via email communication or verbally via the telephone. Provide assistance to other colleagues and departments as and when required. Ensure all work undertaken is in line with internal and client service level agreements. Treat all customers fairly, professionally and act within legislation, compliance and codes of practice. To action and take ownership of work presented to you. Monitor and update accounts with accuracy. To ensure that the companies defined processes are followed. Ability to work well in different areas of the Administration & Correspondence department. To maintain accurate and current customer records. To make legible notes on account screen that corresponds with customer conversation, where necessary. To maintain department standards on a day to day basis on number of accounts worked, and deadlines adhered to. Flexible approach to work/ enjoys doing different tasks.
